CG has commenced fulltime work on the Horn Concerto.

Mao’s Last Dancer completed

CG has completed his music for the feature film Mao’s Last Dancer. Some photos taken during the sessions can be seen here. A Chinese ensemble was combined with the orchestra. As well as the usual underscoring duties, CG composed music in December 2007 and January 2008 that was danced to on the film set with choreography by Graeme Murphy. CG also arranged and recorded some standards of the ballet repertoire.
The film will be released in the latter part of 2009.
